Christmas Part ?

Good Afternoon!

We returned earlier today from Oklahoma. We went up Friday afternoon to celebrate Christmas with Keith's side of the family. We had a nice time visiting with his family. It was chilly out but the kids had a great time riding Go Kart's yesterday. I have to admit the longer I drove it the more adventurous I became. Connor and I were flying over hills and whipping around corners it was a blast. Courtney, Grace and Uncle Steve attempted a camp out in a tent after the bonfire and smores making. They were really roughing it with an air mattress, electric blanket and mini tv/dvd player. Isn't that what camping is all about? All the comforts of home?

Tonight we head over to The Daugherty's for a fun night of playing games and ringing in the new year! We also are having a Jackson sibling gift exchange. Should be lots of fun and I'll post more next year!

To all our friends and family we wish you and your families...Good Health, Much Happiness and a prosperous 2008!

Day after Christmas!

Hi friends and family!

I decided to hop on the band wagon and try and create a blog.

We had a great Christmas! The kids were up at 7:10 and came to the door of our bedroom to yell, "It's Christmas!" While Keith and I tried to drag our lazy tushes out of bed I hear yelling from the living room from Courtney, "We got Reindeer Webkinz!". That started a mad present opening frenzy. The kids each got....Heelys and Guitar Hero II which seem to be the biggest hits. They have been "Rockin Out" upstairs with my biggest kid, their father, leading the way. I have to admit that guitar hero is fun and a lot of old 80's heavy metal music we get to play to.

When that is not going on I get to to listen to Jonas Brothers and Naked Brothers Band on Connor's Idog (a spiderman dog called spidog that I found at Target....shout out to Toni).

After the kids played with their new gifts we got dressed and headed to The Daugherty's for a Christmas Brunch. The food was great! We had french toast casserole, egg fritatas and mimosa's. After that we headed home for a Christmas nap and more guitar hero.

It was a nice day and hard to believe another Christmas has come and gone.... I hope you all had a great day remembering the reason we celebrate with your family and friends.

What am I listening to?
