Gavin turned ONE!

My sweet little nephew turned ONE on 9/26/08. He had his party the day after. It was a fun party and perfect for a one year old. It was at Towne Lake which is a park with lots of beautiful trees and of course a little lake. The older kids got to go on paddle boats which they loved. Enjoy the pictures below of sweet Gavin eating his cake:

Randomness....

Keep praying for the families affected by Hurricane Ike. We didn't see much here in Dallas but so many are left without homes now.

Kids games were cancelled over the weekend for fear of heavy rain. Now, we have to make them up!

Keith is a group leader for a discussion group for Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover at Church, I'm so proud of him, I think he missed his calling.

My house is a mess and I really should be cleaning but I have not been able to make myself do it for sometime. Someone give me a push!

I found some fabric for a window seat cushion and curtains for my kitchen. I just have to figure out how to talk my dear friend K into doing it.

Tomorrow is another fun day at Peak Performance, a class Kim and I are taking to become even better Realtors.

Big shout out to Toni for having Connor and Mason sleep over Saturday. Your a brave, brave woman!

Hope everyone is doing well!

I Want This....

So I was reading a blog that I found while reading a friends blog and she had a picture of a party she had at her home and this gorgeous apothecary beverage dispenser was in the background and I WANT IT! So, my anniversary, birthday, Christmas, Best Sister Day, Greatest Friend....Any of those days would make me well deserving of this. Just an FYI!

And it can be purchased from: http://www.zgallerie.com/p-1835-apothecary-beverage-dispenser.aspx (cheapest I've found doing online searches). Again, just in case!

New month

Labor Day: The first Monday in September, observed as a holiday in the United States and Canada in honor of working people.

Happy Labor Day to all my working friends and family!

We had a relaxing weekend. Friday night we headed to the pool with the kids. Saturday I hosted an open house then went to Kym & Brad's for a cookout and socializing. Sunday we bought the remainder of the door handles to replace upstairs and did a little swimming. Now all the doors have oil rubbed bronze versus brass. Today I have cleaned the master bath, it was horrible and the kids traded in PS2 and gameboy games at Gamestop for new ones.

Business wise....Kim and I need to get some more listings. We sold one on Friday and the remaining listings aren't going anywhere fast. Have a friend, neighbor or family member looking to buy or sell? Call us!

What am I listening to?
